Meet Our Tattoo Artists

We pride ourselves as being one of the best tattoo places in Spokane and surrounding areas. Our work speaks for itself. See our artists below and their work.

Josh Madsen

It all started as a dare. “Go check out that apprenticeship and see if you’d get it dude, I dare you.” So that's what Josh did. He got it, and never looked back. Tattooing has brought so many wonderful opportunities and even more wonderful people into his life. Josh has been tattooing professionally since 2016, focusing on a long-lasting, semi-realistic neo-traditional style. He loves drawing and tattooing portraits, animals, weapons, or anything creative that will be fun to look at.

If you are contacting Josh for his style then he promises you will walk away with art to be proud of. Josh Madsen is one of the best tattoo artists in the Greater Spokane and CDA areas.

Cam

Cam used to rebuild transmissions back in the day for Honda and Acura, until one day his best homie was looking for an apprentice and then just like that bang, he became an apprentice and got his out from automotive!

Once he started tattooing he was able to spend more time with his sonny, work on his own schedule, but the drawing and tattooing didn't stop there. Cam is happy with the most forever and long lasting tattoos he can provide, its not just a piece but its something someone can always be happy with.

Heidi- PMU

Most excited about building a community of cool people that are brought together by so many different things, its awesome she gets to work at a tattoo shop and gets to do her craft and creating an amazing family orientated atmosphere for everyone to get to know each other in the community, whether it be her clients commuting together or just getting to know each other.

Heidi does permanent make up ie...... natural and subtle, customize and tweak according to the clients personal preference and personality, maps face and balances bone structure based on facial morphology.

What sets her apart: attention to detail, everyone is a separate individual, everyones personality is different, and knowing how to gauge that, and actually get personalized with how much she knows about facial structure and how muscles age and how pmu ages over time, also with artistic background and taking her face into consideration, making the client as happy as she possibly can make her client, she thrive with the most particular types of clients, because knowing she can make a "picky" person happy, she's got this as a benefit or else in the bag.

Our Tattoo Services FAQs

How Much Do You Charge?

If you are looking for our tattoo cost, we are very transparent with our pricing. Quotes are based on placement, size, and complexity. We work quick so an hourly wage does not reflect what is quoted. However, with larger pieces (ie. full arms, legs, back, and frontal) it is based on a rate of $150 an hour.

We require a $100-$200 booking fee in advance to confirm your appointment. Full day sessions last anywhere from 5-8 hours with a rate of $1200. If clients fail to show up the booking fee will be forfeited and another will be needed to get back on the schedule. Some circumstances may not forfeit booking fee at artist’s discretion (serious illness, pregnancy, etc..)

Do you take Credit Cards?

Yes but we add a percentage to the cost, because normally we don’t charge our customers sales tax, but we must pay it. And taking Credit Cards costs us more. But we realize things can be tight, so whip out the plastic! And so far we take Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express. We will need photocopy your photo ID to prove your visit to the credit card company should the need arise.

Do You Offer Piercing?

A lot of people search for tattoo and piercing shops in Spokane hoping to get a studio that does both. However, we only focus on tattooing. We prefer to focus on quality tattooing because it's what we are good at.

How Old Do You Have To Be To Get A Tattoo?

You must be 18 or over. Not any younger, doesn’t matter if your parents will sign for you or swear on a stack of bibles. Be ready to prove yourself with a photo ID because ocassionally we will ask to see it.

Do You Take "Walk-Ins" "Walk-Ups" or Appointment Only?

We always accept walk-ins if the schedule is light. Most often that will occur during a weekday, especially in the early hours after opening. Appointments are mandatory if you want to schedule anything after the day you are calling. If you are looking for walk in tattoo shops in Spokane, be sure to contact us, but remember it is much easier to get on my schedule if you make an appointment

Is It True Your Customers Love You?

We work here for hours and hours, it’s a second home for most of us, and it’s definitely more comfortable if we are relaxed and un-stressed. We like sharing that with anyone we can. Not everyone is receptive to that, I understand. Some people are very serious and that’s what they want from their artist. I can understand that too, but believe me, after many years tattooing, we knows how to achieve a masterful tattoo and chill at the same time.

How Do I Take Care Of My Tattoo?

Leave your bandage on for a minimum of 4 hours. You want to wash your new tattoo with cold water and soap. The cold water will help keep the healing capillaries from opening up again and possibly leaking. Let the tattoo dry out for half a day before putting an ointment on right away. Your tattoo was bandaged with A&D Ointment you don’t need to use the same ointment, we suggest using a light lotion like Lubriderm, Aveeno or our favorite: Cetaphil Cream. Cetaphil while a bit expensive is great for your skin even without the tattoo, and it is non-clogging, this is particularly important in the summertime when high temperatures can make it harder for the body to cool off and breathe. Do not scratch or pick at your tattoo while it is healing. Please avoid putblic places like gyms where common use of equipement can expose your tattoo to Staph infection. Tattoos take 7-10 to heal properly, in that time you should not expose it to direct sun, salt or chlorine water, although showering is fine.

Can I Shower After A Tattoo?

Our Spokane tattoo artists are believer of showers, they are great. Cleaning any kind of cut is good for you. If there is any residue leftover from getting the tattoo, cleaning it gives germs nothing to feed on. On the other hand you should stay out of pool water and salty beach water until at least 7 days after your tattooing.

What About Sun Exposure?

If your tattoo is brand new avoid sun exposure. I always tell people not to forget that your tattoo is like an expensive scrape. The skin is exposed to harm because it has lost part of it’s protective epidermis, so if you expose a tattoo to sun, the sun burns your skin with nothing to stop it. So avoid sun if you work outdoors wear a white shirt to reflect the sun or a dry bandage, but take the bandage off afterwards so your tattoo can breathe and heal faster.

Does It Hurt To Get Tattooed?

If you are looking for tattoo parlors Spokane, you want one that is upfront with you. So, yes it hurts, but: everyone handles it differently . What you feel depends on who you are, wether you had a good lunch, if you got good sleep that night, etc. Tattoos usually hurts only for the first 5 – 10 minutes and then you either feel numb in that area or you feel very good all of a sudden. I always feel like I accomplished something really good after getting a tattoo, and that’s a good feeling. Of course, being rewarded with a beautiful tattoo is an even better feeling.

Are you open?

Yes, we are. The pandemic made it difficult, but you can rest assured that we are one of the top Spokane tattoo shops open right now.

Can You Tip A Tattoo Artist?

Now there’s a good question. In a perfect world I wouldn’t tip a waiter or waitress because I HAD too. The service should be better than just “good enough” which is what you get in most places. If a tattoo artist has gone out of their way to make things good for you, or really set you up with something sweet, than by all means. What’s typical? $10-$20 bucks or about 10% of the cost.
